It is great to be in class with you again!! I am proud of you for shooting your first video! I have a short tripod to use for recording videos; it's less than 6 inches long. This helps steady the camera.
You commented that you realized how much you did not know about technology when you started LUO Ed Tech courses. I have been working with computers for over 25 years, and I felt the same way when I became a virtual teacher! I have co-workers who have expressed the same thoughts. I always felt tech "savvy" compared to my peers in the Brick and Mortar, yet I have remarked that I did not realized how much I didn't know before my career shift to online instruction.
I've read some of your previous posts, so I would have to say the statement about being orphaned at an early age is the incorrect one. I read in one post that you and your siblings were able to complete school and marry before the loss of your parents. (My dad passed away almost 14 years ago.)
What are your thoughts about learning? How does it take place?
